CLI is proud to partner with Destinations Career Academy to incorporate real-world skills and knowledge in the agriculture industry and to embed a deep knowledge of all of Wisconsin’s agricultural opportunities—including the cranberry industry.

Wisconsin Agriculture in the Classroom
Wisconsin Ag in the Classroom program provides teaching resources and lesson plans to teachers and classroom volunteers to help K-12 students develop an understanding of how their food is grown and raised. The program seeks to work within existing curricula to provide basic information on the nation’s largest industry: agriculture. Check out our Cranberry STEAM feature!

The Wisconsin State Cranberry Growers Association (WSCGA) is a member-based organization designed to cultivate Wisconsin’s cranberry industry and support its growers through useful educational resources, responsible environmental stewardship, sound governmental policies and effective public communications.

CLI and Food and Farm Exploration Center share the goal to promote agricultural literacy, to increase the understanding of the origins of our food, and to deepen the relationship between farmers and consumers.

A Country Life- Jennifer Brockman
Cranberry Learning and A Country Life share a passion for cranberry farming, education, and cooking! We partnered with two-time cookbook author Jennifer Brockman to offer her cookbooks on our website.

Wisconsin Farm Bureau
As the largest general farm organization in the state, Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation serves as a voice for farmers. Our mission is to lead the farm and rural community through legislative representation, education, public relations and leadership development. The Wisconsin Farm Bureau Foundation supports agricultural and leadership programs such as 4-H, FFA and Ag in the Classroom.

Author: Lisl H. Detlefsen
Lisl H. Detlefsen is the author of a growing number of picture books. Her first, TIME FOR CRANBERRIES (Macmillan/Roaring Brook Press, illustrated by Jed Henry) was a Junior Library Guild selection, a 2016 Notable Social Studies Trade Book for Young People (K–2), and the 2017 Wisconsin Ag in the Classroom Book of the Year. CLI is proud to partner with Lisl offering her children’s book TIME FOR CRANBERRIES as part of our literacy kit and lesson plans.

Cranfest Warrens, WI
Warrens Cranberry Festival started as a small-town festival in 1973 to an international event with more than 145,000 visitors each year and over 1,200 booths. Warrens Cranberry Festival has given more than $2 million dollars in donations since 1973. CLI volunteers and contributes to the success of the festival by organizing and staffing cranberry marsh tours and providing hands on cranberry education experiences.
