Cran Career Spotlight: Manufacturing and Packaging

Overview: Cranberry Packaging & Production Manager

After cranberries leave the marsh, it takes a skilled team in processing, packaging, and logistics to turn those berries into the juices, sauces, dried fruit, and fresh-pack products consumers find in stores. Cranberries go through multiple steps; cleaning, sorting, drying, sweetening, freezing, packaging, and labeling before being shipped across the country and internationally. Cranberry Packaging & Production Managers are key players in making sure these products are processed efficiently, safely, and sustainably, whether they’re bound for Thanksgiving tables, school lunches, or trail mix.
